Anne Cunningham has over 20 years experience in communications, which includes advertising, marketing services and consulting to human resources and corporate communication functions.

She has worked for two international advertising firms and headed up the marketing services department at one of Canada's largest financial services organizations. These work experiences were focused on strategic planning and implementation of communication activities focused on customers.

But it became increasingly clear to Anne that customer satisfaction could only be delivered if there are enthusiastic and committed employees who are customer-focused. Without strong employee buy-in, the best planned marketing efforts could fail. And so, applying marketing and advertising principles to employees became an important and critical mission.

In 1998, Anne launched Bridge Employee Communications Inc. and has been providing communications consulting across several industries including the financial, energy, high-tech, public and retail sectors. The initiatives have been diverse but the common thread is that effective communications can help to strengthen employees' satisfaction, engagement and contribution to their organization.
